Gluten Free Food Assistance Resources

Food insecurity affects 1 in 6 people who need to be gluten-free. 75% cannot afford their diet because the cost is 183% more expensive. Check out the below resources or donate to support these amazing programs.

National Celiac Association – Feeding Gluten Free

The National Celiac Association manages the Feeding Gluten Free initiative. They partner with major gluten free manufacturers to stock food pantries across the US. Click here to donate to their cause.

Additionally, NCA has a list of national food pantries that may be able to help. Please note: we recommend that you contact the food pantry in advance to make sure that you will be able to access the food you need. Some pantries require you to be a resident of a certain area, some may require a doctor’s note stating that you have a medical need for GF food or there may be other restrictions in place. GIG Cares

GIG Cares is an action-oriented organization driving grass-roots efforts aimed at tackling some of the biggest challenges facing the gluten-free community. Click here to apply for an assistance box or donate here.

Securing Safe Food

While SSF began as a pandemic-focused initiative by members of the FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) Teen Advisory Group, it has since evolved from a grassroots food delivery initiative into a national organization working to combat food insecurity and enhance the availability of no-cost, allergen-free foods. We partner with food pantries committed to our mission of providing a diverse range of nutritionally balanced alternatives for allergen-avoidant families.
