Money Saving Tips For Celiacs Pt. 1

Alright, we all know being a celiac/gluten free/having dietary restrictions is DAMN expensive. In my new series, I will be sharing tips and tricks I use to save money and get cash back.

The first tip is the Ibotta Rebate App. My boyfriend thought I was crazy when I first started using the Ibotta App but I think he’s warmed up from it after seeing that I have gotten $185 back on groceries, health, and home products. I have gotten $70 so far this year alone and it’s only June!!

The best part? When you up with my referral link you will earn $10 after you redeem your first rebate. [and I get $5 😉 ] https://ibotta.com/r/jejenfg

There are three ways to earn:

1. Submit your receipt – this is the easiest way and how I earned most of my $185. You can add your favorite stores, (even Whole Foods!!!!!) scroll through and add the offers you purchased, take a picture of your receipt on the app, and earn cash back! There are typically a decent amount of gluten free brands plus the “any brand” offer gives you cash back on any brand of that category (ex: any onion, any milk, etc).

2. Mobile In-App Purchases – this is the second most frequent way I earn cash back. It’s especially great during holiday season and birthdays. Tons of major retailers like Amazon, Target, and even Uber!!! I use this all the time to get $1 back on my Uber rides. And if you live in a big city those ones can add up fast!

3. Linking Loyalty Cards – Choose one of the Preferred Partners and connect either your loyalty card or phone number, do your shopping and use your loyalty card/phone number at checkout, and Ibotta does the rest.

Cashing Out:

You have to earn $20 to cash out and you can get paid via paypal (my choice), venmo, or gift cards.

Are you using Ibotta? Drop how much you’ve earned in the comments! New it Ibotta? WELCOME!!!
